New Article Published in December Natural Awakenings

We’re very excited to announce Nancy’s new article that is published in the December issue of the Natural Awakenings magazine, Ventura County edition! In “A Feast of Simple Winter Joys”, (page 20-22) Nancy gives some great tips on cooking for the holidays with nourishing and easily digested foods that are really tasty and will enhance your holiday festivities.

As she says in the article: “This year, enjoy your holidays even more by simplifying. Less can be much more: more nutritious, more flavorful, and a boost for immunity, instead of the traditional dietary excess that sets us up for colds and added weight.” We hope you’ll find this 2-page article informative and that the suggestions magnify your holiday happiness!

In the same issue, you’ll also find our first full-page ad – on the back cover! We are excited to have this new ad out in such a great local magazine as Natural Awakenings. It features our list of “11 best ‘to-do’s’ for 2011″, and it also highlights the Miller Family YMCA Jingle Bell 5k Run in Newbury Park, CA on December 19. You can learn more about the run and how to find the YMCA at this site: They are having a “Wellness Village” fair accompanying the run, and we’ll have a booth set up there. To top it off, we are also listed in the magazine’s, “Community Resource Guide”, that appears on page 30.
